Sometimes others see our potential before we do. If friends, family, or clients are constantly complimenting your work or encouraging you to pursue it professionally, take note. External validation isn’t everything, but it can be a sign that your skill has value in the marketplace. When your natural ability starts creating results or joy for others, you’re already halfway to building a business around it.

Turning a hobby into a career takes effort, time, and sometimes money, but when it’s aligned with your purpose, the investment feels exciting, not draining. If you’re craving education, certifications, or mentorship, that’s a major green flag. Growth becomes the reward, not the chore. The moment you’re willing to learn the business side of your passion, you’ve stepped into entrepreneurial territory.
